The position
Are you looking for your next challenge? In an international team in the heart of Berlin, and work from home if you wish? 
hypcloud is an innovative platform that helps real estate developers to find financing. We provide them access to a wide network of lenders matching their project and need, and the collaboration and communication tools to allow them to manage all negotiations in one place: our platform.
As a frontend developer in our engineering team, you will have a direct impact on our main Vuejs application and our product as a whole. You will build, extend, ​fix and test features like live notifications, documents generation, dataroom, downloads, forms, integrations with APIs, ...
We are looking forward to motivated and skilled talents who contribute to further develop hypcloud and bring our vision "Financing the Spaces of the Future" to reality.

Our frontend stack:
- ​Vue 3 with typescript (using more and more the composition API)
- ​Graphql API (provided by our Elixir backend),
​- ​Typescript,
- ​Graphql-codegen for typescript generated API client code,
- ​Phoenix channels and subscriptions,
- ​Apollo, ​VueUse, Pinia, Pug, ...
- Vitest for unit tests,
- ​Testcafe for E2E tests

Your mission
  • Development of new features, and improvement of the existing ones
  • Code debugging, refactoring
  • UI/UX integration, development of new components, services
  • design / extend our API with backend developers
  • Grow the test suite and automation / debugging
  • Participation in Product, tools and processes improvements
Your profile
  • You are self motivated and want to make an impact.
  • You have 3+ years of experience with web development and web frameworks like Vue, React or similar.
  • You are proficient in HTML, CSS, modern JS.
  • You can build features from scratch,
  • You produce documented, clean, and simple code, and see value in writing automated tests.
  • You are a good communicator, able to convey meaning to tech and non tech people alike.
  • You are generally curious about other technologies and practices.
  • You like to learn as well as to share ideas and knowledge with others.
Nice ​to have:
  • Good attention to detail and a sense of design
  • Knowledge of Typescript
  • Experience in other parts of the stack (design, back-end, operations, ...)
  • Experience with docker, deployments, bash, ...

About us
The Berlin-based technology company hypcloud was founded in 2017. The digital platform of the same name offers real estate developers and investors access to suitable lenders and a web-based software application that supports the entire financing process in a user-friendly manner.
 
Lenders receive financing requests selected and pre-screened for them via hypcloud. Thereby, hypcloud combines software-based solutions with the advice and structuring experience of our financing experts, from the initial contact to the closing of a transaction.
 
Through a network of more than 440 lenders, hypcloud covers senior financing as well as mezzanine and subordinated financing for all common real estate asset classes and project sizes along the entire real estate lifecycle.

  • Entwicklung/Verbesserung von neuen Features, Refactoring

Dein Profil
  • Du bist selbst motiviert und willst etwas bewegen.
  • Du hast mehr als 3 Jahre Erfahrung mit Webentwicklung und Web-Frameworks wie Vue, React oder ähnlichem
  • Du beherrschst HTML, CSS, modernes JS
  • Du kannst Funktionen von Grund auf entwickeln,
  • Du kannst Funktionen von Grund auf neu erstellen,
  • Du produzierst und dokumentierst einfachen und clean Code und legst Wert auf das Schreiben automatisierter Tests
  • Du bist ein guter Kommunikator, der in der Lage ist, sowohl technischen als auch nicht-technischen Menschen etwas zu vermitteln. Du teilst gerne Ideen und Wissen mit anderen.
  • Du bist generell neugierig auf andere Technologien und Praktiken.
  • Du magst es, zu lernen und Ideen und Wissen mit anderen zu teilen.
Gut zu haben:
  • Gute Detailgenauigkeit und Sinn für Design
  • Kenntnisse in Typescript
  • Erfahrung in anderen Teilen des Stacks (Design, Back-End, Betrieb, ...)
  • Erfahrung mit Docker, Deployments, Bash, ...
